NBT launched the TOYOTA Prius-C, the most compact and the most fuel-efficient variant of the all-time best-selling hybrid car in the world, on Friday to enthusiastic customers who streamed in at their convenience to all three NBT TOYOTA showrooms throughout the day.

Powered by the latest and much more capable version of the tried, tested and proven TOYOTA Hybrid Synergy Drive system, which actually exceeds the very strict EURO V emissions standards, the Prius-C is also currently the greenest and most fuel-efficient car in the world.
“With just a tankful of petrol (B$19.00), it is good for an incredible 972 km (in eco mode - capped at 110–120 kph), which is more than sufficient for a BSB-to-Kota Kinabalu round trip…or almost 4.5 BSB-KB return journeys!!!” said Mr Leong Cheng Soon, NBT General Manager (TOYOTA Sales), when asked about the much talked-about fuel-efficiency of the car.
“All in all, the Prius-C compact looks all set to make a big impression. However, only a test drive will be able to properly demonstrate why this is currently, one of the world’s most anticipated hybrids. All are welcome,” he added.
