2010 Toyota LandCruiser, Japan Tokyo Motorshow 2009

Few weeks ago during our trip to Japan Tokyo Motorshow 2009, I was lucky enough to get a fast glimpse of the 2010 Toyota Prado, It took me an hour to wait for clearance to take photos of the truck since this car is only revealed by few countries around the world.

Toyota has upgraded Prado’s four litre engine with dual VVT-i to increase power and torque and has improved all round performance

A new vertical grille echoes its predecessor with cylindrical high-beams and projector low-beams with a three-dimensional profile of the clearance and turn signal lamps.

Below the logo of the Toyota emblem was a camera installed in front of the truck and the rear camera was hidden at the rear. This enabled the driver to have a virtual surround view of the entire car.

The Prado is marginally bigger than its predecessor with an extra 80mm in length and 10mm in width, while lower overall height of 15mm contributes to an improved drag coefficient of 0.35 – down from 0.37.

This is the passenger front view of the car, look at that guy below the steering examining the floor mat. Sometimes i got irritated to those people who check out a material for half an hour. Sometimes just starred at a rear indicator for more than 20 minutes. This always happens every time in a Motor show. :(
