Testing the Nissan EV – It is based on the Nissan Latio

This is the first time i drove an electric car ( except for electric buggy ). I was amazed with the acceleration. I tested it goes 0 – 100km/h in 11 seconds and it can goes 60KM for a full charge. A researched was undertaken for the limit range of the distance where America, UK and Japan commuter travel at the average of 50km. We should took this technology to Brunei because it produce zero emission.

day2 (46 of 114)

The new hybrid system used one motor/two clutch hybrid power train with a motor which powered by a different power cell than the EV-11. The hybrid will have a higher output Li-on output battery and accelerate faster than other conventional hybrid.

Verdict

  1. The first drive with the system off. i tested the car by driving a zig zag like a snake with in a straight line and drove the car at high speed 100km/h on the corner and founded it felt dangerous. The car was unstable. Then i tested a dangerous maneuver driving at high speed 100km/h in a corner and make a sudden hard turn on the steering wheel. It is absolutely unstable and have to steer back to safety.
  2. The second drive with the system on ( active 4 wheel drive). I tested the car zigzag and the respond was sharp at every turn and feel safe at high speed cornering. I tried again the dangerous maneuver at the same corner and founded the car improved manoeuvrability, sharpened dynamic response, and unrivalled steering precision giving the driver control over the cornering line.
  3. Its an ultimate in driving pleasure, handling, dynamic response and steering precision.
