Yesterday 11 October 2009, The first event of Ford October Fest 2009 was held at Tutong District which took placed outside Muda Hashim Primary School field. It was organized by Premier Automobiles Sdn Bhd the sole Ford Dealer in Brunei Darussalam and supported by HOCK Motor Company, Aewon Brunei, Sunlit Advertisment and Processta Printing & Trading Co.

Premier Automobiles Sdn Bhd took the first steps of venturing into this popular sports loved by Brunei locals as the Ford Built Tough image is synonymous with such a sport. The Tug of War event has been possible with full cooperation from MPK Sg. Kelugos, Tutong. They invited 8 top national teams, 2 teams each from all 4 districts. The champion will hold the title and trophy for 2 years until the next challenge event.
