The 1st Brunei Custom Bike show was launched by Yang Mulia Dato Paduka Awang Haji Hamdillah Bin Haji Abd. Wahab ( Deputy Ministry of Industry and Primary resources cum Chariman of Brunei Tourism Board ) on 16th April 2009 at 9.00am. The bike show will be going on until 19th April 2009 on Sunday. There are about 6 custom bike shown and proud to say its fabricated by Bruneian. Mohd Nizam the president of QLAP Custom Bikes explained that this is a history of making and the first step of custom bike choppers in Brunei Darussalam.

The Qlap Custom Bike ( QCB ) was started on September 2007 with a custom bike Kawasaki Vulcan 500cc named Predator shown below.

Tutong – A 47-year-old woman from New Zealand succumbed to her injuries after she was hit from behind by a car while cycling yesterday morning along the Muara/Tutong Expressway.

The police have launched an appeal for any witnesses to the accident to come forward. The police said the car involved in the fatal hit-and-run is believed to be a red or maroon-coloured Lexus.

The husband of the deceased is a pilot in Royal Brunei Airlines, according to the police. The woman died at the hospital yesterday evening, the police confirmed.

According to the police statement, the hit-and-run occurred along the Muara/Tutong Expressway near Sekolah Vokasional Nakhoda Ragam Lambak Kanan.

The accident happened around 9.15am. She was cycling along the Muara/Tutong Expressway heading towards Jerudong when she was hit by a car from behind.

Just last weekend on Friday night we parked in a public parking area. As we
drove away I noticed a sticker on the rear window of the car. When I took it
off after I got home, it was a receipt for gas. Luckily my friend told me not to stop as it could be someone waiting for me to get out of the car. Then we received this email yesterday:

‘WARNING FROM POLICE – BEWARE OF PAPER ON THE BACK WINDOW OF YOUR VEHICLE
–NEW WAY TO DO CARJACKINGS’ (NOT A JOKE)

Heads up everyone! Please, keep this circulating… You walk across the parking lot, unlock your car and get inside. You start the engine and shift into Reverse. When you look into the rear view mirror to back out of your parking space, you notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle of the rear window. So, you shift into Park, unlock your doors, and jump out of your car to remove that paper (or whatever it is) that is obstructing your view. When you reach the back of your car, that is when the carjackers appear out of nowhere, jump into your car and take off. They practically mow you down as they speed off in your car. And guess what, ladies? I bet your purse is still in the car. So now the carjacker has your car, your home address, your money, and your keys. Your home and your whole identity are now compromised!
BEWARE OF THIS NEW SCHEME THAT IS NOW BEING USED.

If you see a piece of paper stuck to your back window, just drive away. Remove the paper later. And be thankful that you read this e-mail. I hope you will forward this to friends and family, especially to women. A purse contains all kinds of; personal information and identification documents, and you certainly do NOT want this to fall into the wrong hands.

Fast & Furious opens in theaters. M Vision Cinema and supported by Brunei-Carzine.com set off a gathering at Empire Cinema, Vehicles from the top race, drift, and show teams coming to the event. There are more than 20 car showcase infront of the cinema. More than 5 car club participated in the gathering. Free movie tickets was given to the driver’s of the showcase. What a fantastic gathering for Fast and Furious 4 Movie.

Its a HOT! HOT! HOT! movie for car enthusiast. Movie delivery was very good and the story line was perfect. A good start and a good ending.  It would bring a big wave of excitement to all car fans. It feels like watching the first Fast & Furious movie. Certainly after watching it, car lovers may review they car and mix it up to the new trend set by the movie.

I cant say more about the movie, but what you will be expecting; Beautiful and excitement line of cars, muscle drifting, and cool gadgets technology.

I would give it a full five star!
