Suzuki Kizashi, pronouced as Kee-Zah-Shee”. which meant “ a sign of great things to come “ in japanese.
Boustead Sdb Bhd launched the Suzuki Kizashi by the Managing Director of Boustead Sdn Bhd, Dato Paduka Lim Beng Thai and in his speech, he mentioned a brief introduction about the model.
The Suzuki Kizahi was mentioned “ A premium car without the premuim price “ all over world and the car is price at B$53,629 OTR in our country.
During our visit to Tokyo Motorshow 2009, Kizashi was the star of Suzuki that year
Lets talk about Kizashi why is an affordable premium.
Boustead unveiled two colors that afternoon and the car look stunning. Kizashi’s thoughtfully crafted exterior design is best described as the seamless melding of European style and Japanese craftsmanship. Tailored for the driving enthusiast, Kizashi’s bold and aggressive stance is complemented by available 18-inch alloy wheels; contemporary styling – with its lean proportion and minimal front overhang – injects the sophistication appropriate to a performance-oriented sport sedan.
Fervent Red
Prussian Blue Pearl
The 2010 Kizashi is motivated by a 2.4 liter, 16 valve four cylinder engine mated a CVT. While the CVT is nice for those who don’t like to shift themselves, the 6 speed is a sweet shifting unit that makes the most of the 185 horsepower and 170 ft-lb of torque on tap.
The rear look elegant, we love the dual chrome exhaust and it is well embedded with the bumper.
It is rolled on 18 inch aluminum sport wheels. 235/45R18
The side view looked savvy with its chrome lining
There’s a lot of hard, black plastic in the Kizashi’s cabin, but everything feels high quality and durable. Interior trim fit and finish is great The grain pattern and colour was totally consistent between the door cards, upper dash and lower dash, despite each surface being made of different types of plastic.
Look at the steering; paddle shift gear change, cruise control and multimedia control. Not bad!
Sporty instrumentation is centered on two cylindrically shaped, backlit meters whose position helps you keep your eyes on the road
Keyless push start system.
Rockford-Fossgate audio system
10 way power-adjustable driver’s seat that has memory seat storage
The driver and the passenger are hug with leather seat luxury

Bandar Seri Begawan – Forty-seven per cent of poll respondents in the second BSB Development Masterplan survey said they would support a reduction of Brunei’s petrol subsidy so that the funds could be redistributed to increase subsidies for public transport, such as the Light Rail Transport (LRT) system proposed under the Masterplan.
However, a significant portion were still hesitant about removing the subsidy, with 34 per cent stating they might support the initiative, and three per cent stating they would not.
The Municipal Department polled a total of 647 individuals by handing out questionnaires and placing the survey on the BSB Masterplan and The Brunei Times websites.
When asked that disincentive was needed for car us to shift to public transport, the majority of respondents commented that raising the price petrol was the biggest deterrent, with a significant number saying increasing the price of cars by way of tax could be another way to encourage public to use mass transit.
Others replied that the LRT would have to provide convenience and comfort to passengers and be cheaper than car use to be considered a viable alternative. Several added that the traffic congestion and lack of available parking were other disincentives.
A vast number stated that any public transport system must be convenient and reliable with punctual timetabling.
Nonetheless, 48 per cent of the poll-takers think car users would switch to LRT if making a journey within the LRT corridor, which would service 24 stops between Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Shopping Complex and Brunei International Airport.
A ride from start to finish would take less than 25 minutes, and the frequency of the trams would be every three minutes.
Furthermore, 72 per cent said they would use the LRT service if the fare structure was similar to the ‘purple buses’, which charge $1 for a one-way journey anywhere within its network.
The rail line would link key commercial and administrative areas, including Gadong, Kiulap, Serusop, government offices in Berakas and Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (Ripas) Hospital.
The consultants also plan to have "Park and Ride" facilities at five LRT stations where people can leave their vehicles at multi-level car parks and board the tram to their destination.
Several stops will also have bus and water taxi connections, which can cover routes outside the BSB municipal boundaries.
Mizan Hj Jalil from the Municipal Department told The Brunei Times that the public response to the second survey, particularly from students, was overwhelming. Forty-four per cent of poll respondents were aged 17 years or younger.
While The Brunei Times collected 139 responses on our website, Mizan said the Municipal Department had actually collected over 700 responses from www.bsbmasterplan.com.bn and in hard copy format but were unable to include over 200 of them in their data analysis because they were submitted after the cut-off date.
"Our website contained 500 plus responses but actually we have more than 700 plus responses but we need a cut off date due to insufficient time for our consultants to analyse the data before their next workshop," he said. "It is very unfortunate for us to omit the remaining 200 plus responses due to this unavoidable problem."
The data collected from the 55-question survey will be used by the consultants of the BSB Masterplan to formulate the final version of the plan which is slated for release in September.
The public can view the current draft of the BSB Development Masterplan at the BSB Planning Information Center between 9am and 3pm, Tuesday until Sunday or visit www.bsb-masterplan.com.bn for more information. – Courtesy of The Brunei Times

The first time we saw this was during the Tokyo Motorshow in 2009. Its a brilliant car and sexy.
Boustead Sdn Bhd launched the car on the night of 24th of July 2010 and was open to public the next morning.
The price tag for this beautiful convertible is B$88K – The 332bhp convertible even has the ability to challenge to the more expensive Porsche 911 996. While the 370Z is very serious and sporty, the fun part has been missing. Now, this has been taken care of by the convertible version. The wind in your hair experience would always be welcome.
Nissan’s 370Z Roadster possesses a stunning, sleek and taut design. Nissan took great pains to ensure that the car retained its sleek look regardless of whether the roof was up or down.
Made from cloth for its weight-saving benefits, the 370Z Roadster’s power roof is now a fully automated unit.
The Roadster’s feature list is the folding softtop, which raises or lowers in 20 sec and features an automatic-locking mechanism at the windshield.
This means no more fighting with latches and such; just push the button and watch it work.
From the get-go, the new 370Z was designed to be stiffer, lighter and more powerful than the old 350Z, and these positive traits extend to the convertible. The 370Z Roadster is a full 150 pounds lighter than the old 350Z convertible, and just 200 pounds heavier than the new 370Z coupe. With the new roadster boasting a larger and more powerful 3.7-liter, 332-horsepower V6, the convertible’s extra poundage is barely noticeable.
The interior of the 370Z
Only the 7-speed automatic available in Brunei which includes Downshift Rev Matching (DRM) and Adaptive Shift Control (ASC) and is designed to offer quick, manual-like shifting when operated in manual mode.
Drivers can use the standard paddle shifters or the shift lever. The 7-speed’s wide gear ratios offer improved fuel efficiency, while the Adaptive Shift Control is designed to adjust to the driver’s driving style.
Most importantly for convertible lovers
Nissan boasts that the 370Z Roadster’s glass rear window is larger than the one on the outgoing 350Z convertible, which should help with rear sightlines when you have to have to raise the top. While you’re looking back, though, you’ll see something far more interesting than the rear defroster.
Audi on the go: Press service for iPhone, iPad and iPod
·Free program by Audi Communications available in Apple App Store
·Access via iPhone to the latest content of Audi MediaServices
·One-touch direct access to Audi contacts
Ingolstadt , August 4 , 2010 – Thanks to the “AudiMedia” App , journalists and media representatives can now quickly and easily access information from AUDI AG. No matter where , no matter when: the Audi app offers the latest press texts , photographic materials and videos regarding the Four Rings.
“The AudiMedia App for on the go is especially suitable for journalists who travel a lot , ” says
Toni Melfi , Head of Audi Communications. “Suppose an editor writing on a train or at the airport requires an appropriate photo for their piece or needs to look up something. Well , they no longer need a computer connected to the Internet. Instead , with the iPhone , iPad and iPod touch , they’re just one click away from the AudiMedia App.” The app can be called up in German or English.
This app allows Audi to transmit news and images in an especially user-friendly manner. The home page is continuously updated and provides media representatives with as many as 20 key news items regarding Audi. Users then view content by means of a media-rich ticker. Here journalists can find photos , videos , and complete press releases – configured specifically for the iPhone.
Using a scroll menu at the top of the app , it is possible to activate a filter so that topic-specific articles will be displayed. Whether company news , product information , motorsport results or lifestyle topics: categories mirror those of Audi MediaServices and provide in-depth information.
People who use their iPhone , iPad or iPod touch as a mobile office will enjoy two features in particular. First , Audi provides a calendar which highlights not only Audi events in the near future but also upcoming press events. In the Contacts category , press representatives will find the relevant contact person from Audi Communications who they can call directly or send an e-mail.
The contact information of the press spokespeople can also be saved directly in the journalists’ own directory.
“Naturally , this app also features an overview of Audi’s current portfolio of products , ” says Stephan Öri , Head of Product and Technology Communications. Users choose a model line by means of an animated selector wheel. From A (as in A1) to T (as in TT): the MediaApp has every model. Similar to a combination lock , there are two further selector wheels which enable the user to find the model version he is looking for: one for S and RS models , and one for Cabriolet , Sportback and Avant versions. A final wheel then shows the media formats which are available for the topic in question.
Audi has made this new research tool available for download free of charge at the Apple App Store. Once journalists have installed the program , they can use all of the app’s content without even being online. Audi’s on-the-go press database will be immediately updated every time a user’s iPhone , iPad or iPod touch connects to the Internet.
Journalists are not the only ones who can download this free tool. End users , bloggers and Apple fans may also install this program on their iPhone , iPad or iPod touch to access a public area of the AudiMedia App. In the password-protected version , registered journalists will find exclusive press materials and the Audi contact persons.
